Terms of service

1. The service

SubmitSignal receives data from customer-selected sources, applies customer-configured field mappings and qualification rules, and attempts to send eligible conversion data to customer-selected destinations. NorthAxis operates SubmitSignal and may improve, replace or discontinue features as the service develops.

SubmitSignal supports conversion measurement workflows. It does not operate advertising campaigns, guarantee attribution, guarantee delivery or guarantee any advertising, revenue or business outcome.

2. Accounts and authorised users

You must provide accurate account information, protect your login credentials and ensure that only authorised people access your workspace. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for promptly telling NorthAxis about suspected unauthorised access.

A person who creates or administers an account for an organisation confirms that they have authority to accept these terms and configure the service for that organisation.

3. Customer data and instructions

You retain responsibility for the data you submit or cause SubmitSignal to process. You instruct NorthAxis to process that data only to provide, secure and support the service, including sending eligible conversion data to the destinations you select.

You must ensure that:

• You have a lawful basis and all required notices or consents for the data.
• Your forms, tracking parameters and connected systems comply with applicable law.
• You do not submit sensitive, prohibited or restricted information that an advertising platform does not permit for conversion measurement.
• Your mappings, qualification rules, destination settings and credentials remain accurate and authorised.

4. Connected platforms

Third-party platforms such as form providers and advertising destinations operate under their own terms, policies, availability and technical requirements. You are responsible for maintaining authority to connect those platforms and for complying with their rules.

NorthAxis is not responsible for a third party changing, rejecting, delaying or discontinuing its API, account, permission, event or attribution functionality. We will take reasonable steps to identify and explain delivery failures that SubmitSignal can observe.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use SubmitSignal to:

• Break the law, infringe another person's rights or mislead a platform or user.
• Access data, accounts or systems without permission.
• Transmit malware, disrupt the service or bypass security or usage controls.
• Reverse engineer or resell the service except where NorthAxis agrees in writing.
• Send information about children under 13 or prohibited sensitive characteristics to advertising destinations.

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, connected platforms, NorthAxis or the service, or to investigate suspected misuse.

6. Fees, trials and cancellation

Applicable pricing, trial periods, billing intervals and usage limits will be presented before you purchase a paid plan. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew for the selected billing period until cancelled.

You may cancel a subscription through the available account controls or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period unless the applicable offer states otherwise. Nothing in these terms limits a refund or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to operate SubmitSignal reliably, but the service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, security work, infrastructure failure or a connected platform's behaviour. Features identified as preview, beta, test or development functionality may change and should not be used with production data unless NorthAxis confirms they are production-ready.

8. Intellectual property and feedback

NorthAxis and its licensors retain rights in SubmitSignal, its software, branding, documentation and service design. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive right to use the service while your account remains authorised.

If you provide feedback, you permit NorthAxis to use it to improve the service without an obligation to compensate you. This does not transfer ownership of your customer data.

9. Liability and Australian consumer law

To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the service. NorthAxis's aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid for SubmitSignal during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim.

These limitations do not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including any non-excludable rights or remedies under the Australian Consumer Law.

10. Termination

You may stop using SubmitSignal at any time. NorthAxis may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, unlawful use, security risk, non-payment or where continued operation is no longer reasonably possible. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue.

Following termination, data is handled under the data retention policy. Provisions that logically continue after termination, including intellectual-property, liability and dispute provisions, remain effective.

11. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. The parties submit to the courts with jurisdiction in Western Australia, subject to any mandatory rights that apply elsewhere.
